The health of the green design market can be seen from the results of the ENR Top 100 Green Design Firms list. As a group, the Top 100 generated $4.50 billion in design revenue in 2011 from projects registered with and actively seeking certification from thirdparty ratings groups under objective sustainable-design standards, such as the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. This revenue is a 20.4% increase over the $3.74 billion in 2010 for the group. Domestically, green design revenue rose 19.4%, to $3.91 billion, in 2011 from $3.30 billion in 2010. The Top 100 had $589.6 million in revenue from green projects outside the U.S. in 2011, up 33.1% from $442.9 million in 2010.
