With the passing of SAFETEA-LU
behind us, DOTS are now challenged to find ways
of rehabilitating our highways and reducing chronic
congestion. All agree on the need for new public-private
financing coalitions, getting freight traffic
off the roads and building cooperation among all
stakeholders.
