Arizona Mark Taylor Development is planning to build the San Dorado luxury apartments on a 15.7-acre site in Oro Valley. The project includes 20 three-story buildings, containing 275 units, totaling 374,917 sq ft, as well as a clubhouse and a pool. The designer is Architectural Design Group, the in-house architecture department of Mark-Taylor Inc. The project is valued at $30 million. California The City of Menifee is planning to improve the Newport Rd./Interstate 215 interchange to alleviate traffic congestion on Newport Road. The project involves adding two lanes for a total of six lanes of freeway-overcrossing through-lanes. The project also involves widening and realigning freeway on- and off-ramps. Georgia Hall County is planning to build the Glades Spring Water Supply Reservoir in Lula. The project entails constructing a reservoir on Flat Creek consisting of a 850-ft-long dam, which would create an 850-acre reservoir pool that holds up to 80 million gallons. AECOM is the designer. North Carolina A NRP Group and Beacon Partners joint venture is planning to build the second phase of Edison, an office and residential project in Raleigh. The second phase involves building a six-story, 283,056-sq-ft building containing 223 apartments as well as office space. Pennsylvania EB Realty Management is planning to convert the former Divine Lorraine Hotel in Philadelphia into a mixed-use development. The project entails converting the 11-story building, which was erected in 1894, into 126 rental apartments and 21,000 sq ft of retail space. It is located at 699 N. Broad St. The project architect is Wallace Roberts & Todd LLC, and the general contractor is Domus Inc. Construction is expected to begin in October 2014 and be completed by October 2016. New Mexico The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a $21.3-million firm-fixed-price contract to K.L. House Construction Co. to design and build phase two of the Nuclear Systems Wing & Sustainment Center at Kirtland Air Force Base. The project entails building a two-story, 74,572-sq-ft facility as an addition to the phase-one facility. It will operate as an integrated secure compartmented information facility. K.L. New York Riverside Developers USA, serving as the general contractor, has started to build the Level Hotel at 55 Wythe Ave. in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. The 20-story, 320,000-sq-ft building will contain 183 hotel rooms, 210 interior parking spaces, and medical office space on the fifth through ninth floors. Albo Liberis LLC is the designer. Texas D.E. Harvey Builders has started constructing Market Square Tower at 777 Preston in downtown Houston. The 40-story, 500,000-sq-ft building will contain 463 rental apartments, an indoor basketball court, a virtual golf simulator, a screening room with recliners, a banquet room and two swimming pools. The project owner is the Woodbranch Investment Group. Construction is expected to be completed by January 2017. The project is valued at $147.3 million. D.E. Ohio 8/19 The Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority is seeking bidders to build phase two of the Collingwood Green mixed-use project in Toledo. The project includes 11 two-story buildings, containing 68 units and totaling 98,926 sq ft. Berardi + Partners Inc. is the designer. The project's value has been estimated at $12.9 million.
