Arizona Cobalt Medical Development is planning to build an advanced rehabilitation center. The 50,000-sq-ft, 40-bed center will be located at the intersection of Bell and Dysart roads in Surprise. Colorado GSBS Batenhorst Inc. is planning to build the Alta Colorado Lodge and Resort in Leadville. The four-story, 40,000-sq-ft building will include 176 guest rooms, several restaurants, a spa, conference rooms and an indoor water park. The project also entails building a nine-hole, par-3 golf course, driving range, a pond for ice skating and an amphitheater. The project has been valued at $12 million. Indiana Henke Development Group is planning to build Chatham Hills, a mixed-use development in Westfield. Pennsylvania Realen Properties & Land Trust Partners is planning to build the Village at Valley Forge in King of Prussia. Connecticut Cutter Enterprises has started work on the Old Talcott Mill Apartments in Rockville. The project entails converting the 101,491-sq-ft former Talcottville Mill into 83 apartments. Michigan Roncelli Inc., the construction manager, has started building a new 138,000-sq-ft test wing for the General Motors global power-train manufacturing plant in Pontiac. Nevada CDI Contractors has started building Summerlin Dillards Department Store in Las Vegas. Louisiana 4/22 The Louisiana Office of Facility Planning and Control is seeking bidders to carry out a project at the Louisiana State Recreation Complex Building and Swimming Pool. The work involves renovating 75,000 sq ft of the existing building and constructing a 125,000-sq-ft addition. The project has been valued at $73 million. Maryland 4/24 The Maryland Dept. of Transportation is seeking bidders to carry out a resurfacing project on U.S. Route 40 (Pulaski Highway) in Baltimore County. The project entails grinding and resurfacing the existing hot-mix-asphalt pavement for 2.4 miles, beginning near the intersection of Todds Lane and running east to the Martin Boulevard overpass. South Dakota 4/24 Veterans Administration Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System is seeking bidders to build a surgical-tower addition to its facility at Fort Meade. The project entails the construction of a 36,000-sq-ft, multistory addition to the north side of Building 113; it will house the surgical suite, post-anesthesia care unit and support facilities.
