Georgia Thrive Senior Living is planning to build The Harbor at Harmony Crossing, an assisted-living facility in Eatonton. The project entails the construction of a single-story, 41,000-sq-ft building containing 60 assisted-living and memory-care units. Oconee Construction Services has been selected as the general contractor. The project has been valued at between $3 million and $5 million. Nevada Valley Electric Association Inc. is planning to build the Hidden Hills Transmission Project. The job includes a new 10-acre, BSE tap 230/500-kV substation near Jean and 9.7 miles of new 230-kV single-circuit transmission line from the Hidden Hills Solar Project site to the new substation. The project also includes a new two-acre switch northwest of the Eldorado Substation as well as 53.7 miles of new 500-kV single-circuit transmission line from the new BSE substation to the existing Eldorado Substation. New York The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corp. is planning a gut renovation of Building 77 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The project specifies interior and exterior upgrades of this 18-story, one-million-sq-ft building, including upgrades to the eight elevators (four passenger and four freight). Building 77 is a former ammunition depot that has been largely unused for 50 years. Beyer Blinder Belle has been selected as the architect, and Plaza Construction has been selected as the construction manager. The project's value has been estimated at $60 million. South Dakota South Dakota State University is planning to build a newstadium to replace Coughlin Alumni Stadium. Valued at $75 million, the project scope includes an 18,000- to 20,000-seat stadium on the Brookings campus. South Dakota State University, 304 Administration Building, Brookings, 57007. Texas The Texas Dept. of Transportation is planning to build the Interstate 35E managed-lanes project in Dallas. The project calls for a new two-mile-long bridge across Lake Lewisville, adding more lanes to handle north-bound traffic. The project team also will rebuild the Belt Line, located in Carrollton, and Garden Ridge Road and add two reversible managed-traffic lanes. AGL Constructors—a joint venture comprising Archer Western Contractors, Lane Construction Corp. and Granite Construction Co.—is the design-build entity executing the project. Colorado As construction manager-at-risk, Mortenson Construction has started building the Charles Schwab Corp. campus in Lone Tree. The project's first phase involves the construction of four structures: two five-story buildings, each 187,000 sq ft; two two-story buildings, each 20,000 sq ft; and a four-level, 975-space parking structure. Pennsylvania The Washington Headquarters Services of the U.S. Dept. of Defense has awarded a $43.6-million firm-fixed-price design-build contract to Grunley Construction Co. Inc. to modernize the west powerplant at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC) in order to meet 2N redundancy requirements. RRMC, also known as the National Military Command Center Reservation, houses the emergency operations centers for the Army, Navy and Air Force. RRMC is located in Fairfield, Pa. Bid/Proposal Dates

Massachusetts 5/6 The Reading Public Library is seeking bidders to renovate its 1905 building. The project team will upgrade the 7,596-sq-ft structure with a new HVAC system; add new high-efficiency boilers, radiant floor heating and a new fire-alarm and sprinkler system; and replace 100-year-old windows with new energy-efficient windows.
