California The University of California, Davis, has selected Affiliated Engineers Inc. to provide architectural and engineering services for the campus lighting initiative project. New York The State University of New York's Buffalo State College has selected BHNT Architects PC to provide planning and design services for the rehabilitation of the 61,000-sq-ft Caudell Hall. Oregon The Eugene Water and Electric Board has selected Wildish Building to provide construction management/general contracting services for the Carmen-Smith hydroelectric project in McKenzie Bridge. The project includes an upstream fish ladder, a downstream fish screen and a bypass pipe at Trail Bridge Reservoir, a new velocity barrier below the Trail Bridge Dam and water-release structures at the Carmen Diversion and Smith dams. Texas Williamson County has selected J.T. Vaughn Construction LLC to provide construction management-at-risk services for a new, 27,000-sq-ft to 33,000-sq-ft emergency services operations center. Pennsylvania 6/20 The City of Lock Haven is seeking both a general contractor and an electrical contractor to perform an upgrade to its sewage treatment plant. The general contractor will be awarded contract No. 2—valued at between $19.5 million and $21.5 million—to construct a biological treatment facility building incorporating a four-train sequencing batch reactor system and four aerobic digesters; an upper-level area will contain offices, meeting room, locker rooms, rest rooms and storage areas. The electrical contractor will be awarded contract No. 3—valued at between $2 million and $3 million—which entails installing and constructing the electrical distribution system, lighting, emergency generator, and power and control wiring. Indiana 7/19 The City of Indianapolis is seeking bidders to build two projects. The first is the Deep Rock Tunnel Connector, a 39,378-ft-long, 18-ft-dia combined-sewer overflow tunnel, including vortex drop shaft structures, de-aeration chambers and adits. The second project is 5,624 ft of new levee embankment construction, including 10,159 ft of existing levee-embankment repairs and a 4,756 ft internal drainage moat.
