CALIFORNIA San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), the transportation planning agency for San Bernardino County, is overseeing a grade separation project called Colton Crossing. The Union Pacific east-west tracks currently meet the BNSF line’s north-south tracks at grade, requiring trains to idle. The crossing is located just south of I-10 in Colton. ARIZONA The University of Arizona has selected GLHN to provide engineering services for the expansion of the new Arizona Health Sciences Center transformer yard. FLORIDA The U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs has awarded Brasfield & Gorrie LLC a $260.3-million contract to complete the construction of the new Orlando VA Medical Center at Lake Nona. The facility will house labs with several special features: 400-Hz power, a dry-air/nitrogen distribution system and isolation pads.
