The 248 HSL is designed for work such as bridge building, steel erection and pile driving. Powered by a 282-hp Tier 4 Interim engine, the 200-ton lattice-boom crawler crane can be fitted with a main boom of 55 ft to 285 ft and a fixed jib ranging from 30 ft to 100 ft; the maximum tip reaches 345 ft. When lifting light loads, a selectable "eco" mode keeps engine speeds under 1,000 rpm without sacrificing line speed. Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co.; 859-264-6246; www.linkbelt.com
