The Armor X2 Commercial Condensing Water Heater has thermal efficiencies as high as 96 percent. It has two independent combustion systems, consisting of two stainless-steel heat exchangers, gas valves and combustion blowers designed to work in unison. Sokkia's CX line of total stations are able to work up to 1,641 ft without a reflector and 12,123 ft with a prism. Each has a batterylife of up to 36 hours and has a waterproof and dust-proof metal chassis. Data can be downloaded by USB or Bluetooth. The Sokkia CX total station features TSshield, which provides on-screen notices of firmware updates and can be used to disable the machine remotely if it is lost or stolen. The McElroy Guided Side-Bend Tester is designed for on-site ductility tests of pipe fusion segments. The device can performa bend-back test of a piece of polyethylene pipe with a 1-in. to 7-in. wall thickness. A test segment is cut from the pipe witha planer and inserted into the tester; the side-bend tester then places the entire wall thickness into tension. Roadtec has updated its 10-ft standard asphalt paver models with Tier 4 Interim Cat C7.1 225-hp engines. Other changes include improved operator visibility and easier access to service points. The operator's station now features a hydraulic pivot console and an adjustable seat. Fuel capacity has been increased to 145 gallons from 120. Tencate Mirafi H2Ri is a geosynthetic fabric made from a weave of high-strength polypropylene filaments and patented wicking filaments. The fabric is intended for use in subgrades where soil retention is a persistent issue. The two-layer weave design allows for consistent separation while making possible moisture wicking and drainage.
