Automated Grading System: Speeds Up Operations
The Topcon 3D-MC² for Graders allows a motor grader’s control system to detect changes in blade position and make corrections up to 100 times per second. According to the manufacturer, the system allows graders to work at higher speeds than other 3D machines, greatly increasing productivity. The 3D-MC² can be integrated with Topcon’s slope sensor to maintain slope accuracy. Built-in tilt compensation allows the operator to roll the blade forward as needed without changing the grade height. Topcon Positioning Systems; 925-245-8300; www.topconpositioning.com
