2d Excavator Guidance System: Can Be Converted to 3D The Leica PowerDigger 2D excavator guidance system can be used on a dozer, excavator or grader. Leica’s PowerSnap technology allows the user to switch between traditional grade-and-slope and 3D machine-control panels as needed. Core components of the system can be removed for security, while machine-specific settings are saved in the cradle. The addition of a 3D control box and GNSS sensor allows for an excavator to work with a 3D profile. Leica Geosystems Inc.; 770-326-9500; www.leica-geosystems.us
