VACUUM EXCAVATION SYSTEM
Remote Operation
Vacmasters System
4000 is designed to help utilities and utility contractors
reduce costs and increase production by automating the potholing
process and cutting time to 7 or 8 minutes in any kind of
soil conditions, the manufacturer claims. The vacuum excavation
uses the kinetic energy in a high velocity air stream to penetrate,
expand and break up soil to expose buried utilities. The process
won't damage the road base. The system is installed on a 25,950
GVW (Non-CDL) diesel chassis and features remote operation
up to 200 ft away. VACMASTERS; 800/466-7825;
