Equipment Monitor: Wireless Locator
The TrimTrac Pro Locator is the hardware component of a construction-equipment asset-management system to track and monitor equipment such as skid loaders, backhoes, compressors and generators. Used in conjunction with Trimble Construction Manager software, the TrimTrac uploads data on its current position and activity wirelessly to monitor equipment activity. Its GPS locator tracks the equipment location, while a motion sensor logs vehicle movement and operation. Data is uploaded to the Construction Manager data center where users can check a variety of reports and charts, including displays of daily activity and hours-of-use logs for preventive maintenance.
