Lightweight Air Compressor: Portable
Lightweight Air Compressor: Portable
The EX8017 is a lightweight, aluminum-tank air compressor intended for industrial applications. It has a 2.5-gallon twin-stack tank and 1-hp motor that delivers 2 cu ft of air per minute at 90 psi. Due to its aluminum construction the unit weighs only 30 lb, and will provide cleaner air because the tank will not rust like traditional steel-tank air compressors. It has a maintenance-free, oilless pump and an easy-to-read recessed control panel. The protective roll bar features a built-in grip for easy transport. Green Insulation: From Soy and Recycled Plastic
Green Insulation: From Soy and Recycled Plastic

Heatlok Soy Insulation is the first of a series of environmentally friendly products that the manufacturer is developing for commercial buildings. It is a rigid, spray-on polyurethane insulating foam that is comprised of more than 20% recycled plastic material and soy. According to the manufacturer, the product can reduce energy waste by up to 50% because it exceeds government performance standards for air barrier materials by as much as 500%. The closed-cell foam expands as it dries to fill the building’s shell to prevent moisture from forming. By filling gaps and cracks in a building’s shell, the foam can lead to reduced heating and cooling costs.
