commentAirport construction grants and other Federal Aviation Administration programs will keep running through March, thanks to a newly approved three-month extension. Final congressional action came on Dec. 10, with Senate passage. The bill is the latest in a series of extensions since September 2007, when the last multiyear FAA bill lapsed. The House did pass a three-year measure in May. In the Senate, a two-year bill cleared committee in July but is stalled.
