Thanks to the hundreds of photographers —both amateur and professional —who entered this year's photo contest. It is an amazing group of photos that show the spectacular diversity of the construction industry. The submissions capture construction scenes that show beauty, color, drama and challenging work.
All the entries can now be viewed in the galleries we have created. Just follow the links below. And we want you to help us choose the winning photos.
Here's how it works:
Click on one of the photo folders below and look at the image thumbnails.
Click on each to see a larger, single image.
To vote for a photo you like, click the word "Recommend" beneath it.
This year for the first time, in addition to winners chosen by a team of professional judges, ENR will be tallying readers' top picks.
There are various numbers of galleries in each category, so be sure to look at the photos beyond the first gallery.
You will be able to see how many other readers have recommended the same photo. You may vote for all the photos that you like in all four categories. You may also make comments about the photos.
The most "recommended" photos will be the Readers' Choice winners.
Winners will be displayed in our special feature "Images of the Year in Construction." The winners selected by readers and those chosen by our panel of judges will be used in slide shows on ENR.com and in a special Dec. 31 digital magazine.
Top winners will also appear in the first print issue of 2008.
The galleries are now open. Please help us choose the winners!
