Daniel Busch is named president of Constructors & Associates, a Dallas-based unit of Structure Tone Organization, New York City. He had been managing director for developer Trammell Crow and is former corporate real estate director for Electronic Data Systems.
Gonzales/Goodale Architects, Pasadena, Calif., has named two new principals: Harry Drake is promoted from senior project manager and formerly worked for HNTB Corp.; Ali Barar was vice president and architectural director of the Los Angeles Community Design Center, a nonprofit planning and affordable housing developer.
Broodmoor LLC, a Metairie, La., design-build firm, has elevated Roy D. Langridge to vice president. The 15-year veteran will lead preconstruction and business development. Eileen H. Long is named vice president, a new position at its architecture unit, Broodmoor Design Group. An 11-year veteran, she was construction project manager for the firm in rebuilding the Louisiana Superdome in NewOrleans after Hurricane Katrina.
Aon Construction Services Group has named new insurance and risk management executives in Los Angeles. Michael R. Szot is managing director and executive vice president. Jim Reilly and Gary L. Stevens also join as senior vice president, and Micah Chen becomes vice president. All were in similar positions at Willis Construction.
CMX, a Manalapan, N.J., engineering firm, has elevated Kevin Webb to principal. He is a senior project manager, responsible for site design.
Kathleen Shanahan has been named CEO of WRSCompass, a Tampa, Fla., construction and environmental services firm formed by the merger of WRS Infrastructure & Environment Inc. and Compass Environmental Inc. She had been CEO of WRS. Martin Battistoni, formerly Compass president and COO, is head of the combined firms’ commercial business unit and Luke Frantz, former WRS president and COO, is head of the government business unit. Equity Group Investments LLC, Chicago, is majority owner.
Mitchel R. Levitt is promoted to president and CEO of Karlsberger Cos., a Columbus,Ohio, architectural consultant. He replaces Richard Barger, now vice chairman. Levitt, formerly chiefmarketing officer, is past national president of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and on the board of the Professional Services Management Association.
The National Association of Women in Construction and Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction named Jeanne Staton Woman of the Year. She is principal of Staton Cos., a Eugene, Ore., demolition contractor and former president of the Associated General Contractors’ Oregon-Columbia chapter.
Hardin Construction Co. LLC, Atlanta, has promoted Chuck Sauls to vice president of preconstruction. He has led the firm’s preconstruction group in Orlando Fla., for eight years.
The Schinnerer Group, a Chevy Chase, Md., underwriting management firm, has named Jean Laurin president and CEO. He continues as president of ENCON Group Inc., a Canadian unit that provides professional liability and construction insurance. Lorna M. Parsons becomes president and chief underwriting officer for another unit, Victor O. Schinnerer & Co. Inc.
Robert Vail Cole is named a principal of Swanke Hayden Connell Architects, New York City. He is director of historic preservation and author of what the firm says is the first comprehensive preservation planning and estimating guide.
