John Murphy is a Principal with Corgan Associates Inc. and has 26 years experience in the practice of planning and architecture. He spent the past two decades working exclusively on airport projects focused mainly on terminal planning and programming.

Murphy has led the design effort on aviation building types including airport terminals, airline support areas, aircraft parking, baggage system designs, Customs Boarder Protection facilities, air cargo /perishable good, and commuter facilities. His significant terminal projects include DFW, JFK, ORD, MIA, ATL, and AUS.

Most of these projects included extensive specialized studies including project feasibility studies, architectural programming, facility demand/capacity analysis, operational manning studies, and project phasing studies that combine the requirements of both airport /airline operations with construction.
