Why Contractors Fail

I found your article on Why Contractors Fail very interesting. As a regional insurance agency having been in the surety business for fifty years, your facts don't come as a surprise to me. For some reason, the surety companies have aligned with the national brokers in a constant effort that has undermined the industry and has caused staggering losses. An interesting statistic would be what agents were servicing these contractors and how much influence did they have in providing surety credit for less than qualified contractors, contractors that received surety credit because of the marketing power of the large broker.
