I read the article ("It's Time To Recognize That We Are An Immigrant Nation") on immigration with mixed feelings and fully realize the construction industry is beginning to experience labor shortages. In my view, this article encourages illegal immigration and offers no solution to a burgeoning problem in the US with wide open borders. I believe we are a nation of immigrants but all immigrants should seek asylum in this country legally. The current US policy is supported by the middle class workers that have enough economical problems with the rising energy costs. The political & corporate profiteers can not continue to exploit the middle class by supporting the illegal immigrant explosion.
