
May 5, 2008 - The story "$1-Billion Jigsaw Puzzle Has Builder Modeling Supply Chains" incorrectly attributed a source who described software used to create a 4D construction model of a new football stadium. The description was supplied by David Campbell, director of Skanska Integrated Modeling for Construction and a vice president with Skanska USA Building Inc., Parsippany, N.J.

The story "Courthouse Opens Late and $96.4 Million Over Budget" erroneously listed Heritage Air Systems, Deer Park, N.Y., as the contractor for the cooling system serving the computer rooms. Heritage Air Systems had no role in that aspect of the work.

In the ENR Global Sourcebook, a photo in the transportation market story was incorrectly identified. The project pictured is the Dubai Metro's Red and Green line, being built by a joint venture of Pasadena, Calif.-based Parsons Corp. and Systra of Paris. Construction of Dubai Metro's Purple line is managed by a joint venture of Systra and Parsons Brinckerhoff, New York City. Also, the environmental story incorrectly identified Dick Fox, who is president of CDM Inc., Cambridge, Mass.
One Rincon Hill, subject of the article "San Francisco Skyscraper Lifts Seismic Design's Stature," is the first residential building in the U.S. to have a liquid-tuned mass damper, not the first building in the U.S. to have one. The core's aspect ratio is 12:1 in the long direction and 18:1 in the short direction. Full tower height perimeter columns are 2 ft 8 in. x 7 ft 6 in. in plan.

The recent story "Sinking Approaches Unsettle Delaware's Bridge Plans" contains an error. The original cost estimate for the new Indian River Inlet Bridge was approximately $130 million. The new estimate is $150 million based on additional length, inflation and materials costs

On ENR's Top 50 Green Contractors list, James G. Davis Constructin Corp., Rockville, Md., was incorrectly listed as having no LEED-accredited professionals on staff. Davis has 22 staff members accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council, Washington, D.C.

On the ENR Top International Design Firms list and the Top Global Design Firms list, the market data for Halcrow Group Ltd., Swindon, Wiltshire, U.K., was incorrect. On both tables, the market percentages for Halcrow Group Ltd. should be: General Building: 14%; Water: 20%; Sewer/Waste: 13%; Transportation: 52%.

Because a legible copy of its corrected survey form did not reach ENR on time, SK Engineering & Construction, Seoul, Korea, was misranked on the ENR Top International Design Firms and Top Global Design Firms lists. SK had $44.5 million in international design revenue and $102.96 million in total design revenue, dropping its rank on the Top International Design Firms list to No. 87 and dropping it off the Top Global Design Firms list. GeoSyntec Consultants, Atlanta, should have been ranked No. 150 on the Top Global Design Firms list with $114.9 million in total design revenue.
July 2/9, 2007 - L.F. Driscoll Co. was inadvertently left off the recently published Top 100 CM-at-Risk table. Driscoll should have ranked No. 37, with $482.0 million, all domestic, in CM-at-Risk revenue. Also, in the introductory story to the Top 100 lists, Sequeira & Gavarrete, the Miami-based architectural and program management firm that was acquired by Atlanta-based Heery International, was incorrectly identified as program manager for the $300-million Miami Intermodal Center Rental Car Facility. Long Beach, Calif.-based Earth Tech is the program manager on that job, while S&G is the architect of record.
June 13, 2007 - In a feature story on Hill International, the name of the firm's chief information officer and vice president was incorrect . He is Michael J. Petrisko.
June 6 , 2007 - The name of the engineering firm in the story “Hybrid Process Spurs Portland Waterfront Development” was misspelled. The correct spelling is Woodard & Curran.
May 16 , 2007 - A story about Tampa Bay Water's desalination plant stated that the utility had agreed to "a $7.9-million settlement with the original membrane manufacturer, Long Beach, Calif.-based Hydranautics Inc., that had guaranteed the plant’s performance early on, and its co-sureties." A Hydranautics spokesman points out that the company is in Oceanside, not Long Beach.
April 26 , 2007 - In the story in the Feb. 26, 2007, edition, “Brazil's Local Contractor Giant Reaches Out to Spur Growth,” Brazilian firm Camargo Corrêa was identified as leading the consortium constructing the $1.4-billion São Paulo Metropolitan Subway Line 4 project. According to Consórcio Via Amarela, Camargo has an equal stake in the consortium with OAS, Queiroz Galvão, Andrade Gutierrez and Odebrecht - the last being designated the lead company on the project. In addition, the print version of the story did not explicitly say that Camargo Corrêa became a holding company in 1996.
April 25 , 2007 - The article "Mississippi Crossing Rising Fast Out of Katrina's Rubble" erroneously named Granite Construction Inc. and Archer Western Contractors as contractor on the $338-million Biloxi Bridge. That bridge is being built by Massman Construction Co., Kansas City; Traylor Bros. Inc., Evansville, Ind.; and Kiewit Southern Co., Peachtree, Ga. Granite/Archer is contractor on the U.S. 90 bridge over Bay St. Louis. The center photo is of the Biloxi Bridge, not the Bay St. Louis Bridge.
March 26 , 2007 - A story on the replacement of an electric transmission line across the Susitna River in Alaska should have said the line carries half of the Anchorage metropolitan area's power supply. It also incorrectly named the designer of the foundations for the new towers. PND Engineers Inc., Anchorage, designed the foundations as a subcontractor to Dryden & LaRue Inc., the prime design engineer.
March 26 , 2007 - The article "Double-Decker Planes Try On U.S. Facilities for Size" incorrectly identified the contractor for the upgraded gate that handled the Airbus A380 airliner at Los Angeles International Airport. It was Swinerton Builders, a division of Swinerton Inc., San Francisco.
March 19 , 2007 - The story “In the story "Extended Enterprise Service Helps Write Project Success Stories," Neal Allen, principal engineer of Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District, was incorrectly identified as Eric Allen.
March 5 , 2007 - The story “Reno Researchers Shake Things Up” incorrectly named the host school where researchers performed seismic tests on a large-scale, four-span bridge model. It is the University of Nevada, Reno.
February 5 , 2007 - In the story, “Firm Says No Mea Culpa in Pave Job,” the North Carolina Dept. of Transportation (NCDOT) is twice incorrectly referred to as SCDOT.
January 29, 2007 - The name of a company mentioned in the story, "Consolidation Trend in 2007 Starts With a Bang in January," is incorrect. EFCG Inc. was incorrectly identified as EGCG Inc.
