Preston Takes Over Top Spot at Troubled HUD

PRESTON

The U.S. Senate confirmed Steven Preston as the new head of the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development after former head Alphonso Jackson stepped down after key senators demanded his resignation for failing to adequately answer questions about “allegations of impropriety” concerning HUD contracts. Preston was in charge of the Small Business Administration. His major challenge is addressing concerns of homeowners facing foreclosure.
