Project of the Month: A Highway Through Key Largo
Using a specialized technique, Hayward Baker mixed soils adjacent to Barnes Sound. The special attachment on the backhoe mixes the cement mixture into the soil which then hardens sufficiently over time for the new roadway to be constructed on top.
