Travels with My Photographer

While attending McGraw-Hill Construction's Global Summit in Beijing recently, ENR Editor-in-Chief Janice Tuchman and contributing photographer Michael Goodman captured highlights of the event, their travels and some exciting projects under construction in China. "It was great to have a pro photographer on the trip. I didn't have to drop the notebook and grab for the camera all the time. I knew Michael would get the same great shot that I was seeing," says Tuchman.

    • Shopping: On a visit the same day to the Ming Tombs, Michael captured the spirit of commerce, now prevalent everywhere in China, at this brightly colored line of souvenir stalls. "I got a T-shirt for about $2, and I probably paid too much," he says.
