Balfour Beatty Construction announced several promotions in the Pacific Northwest.
Dale Pellow has been named chief executive officer of the West Region. In this role, he will oversee operations for both Howard S. Wright and Balfour Beatty Construction within the region. He is based in Portland.
Dan Peyovich has assumed the role of division president in Washington State. He has been with the company 13 years in the Seattle office of Howard S. Wright.
Jim Sather has been named division president in Oregon. He has been with the company for 17 years.
Gary Alfson has joined Portland-based engineer Otak, as a senior project manager working out of the firm's office in Lake Oswego, Ore. He has more than 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, including work for several public agencies in Oregon and in southwest Washington.

MWH Global recently announced two promotions.
Charles "Bill" Cutting has been elevated to vice president and principal project manager. A water resources engineer with more than 30 years of experience, he is based in Bellevue, Wash.
Jonathan "Andy" Hersey was promoted to vice president and client services manager. Based in Portland, he is a registered geologist and client service manager.
