Philip Luna will become president of Universal Pegasus International Inc. (UPI), a Houston-based oil-and-gas pipeline engineer and project manager, following the anticipated June closing of its acquisition by Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), a Newport News, Va., shipbuilder. The planned deal was announced on May 16. Luna now is UPI president and CEO. It will be an HII subsidiary. No further transaction details were disclosed. UPI has 1,500 employees and ranks at No. 61 on ENR's list of the Top 500 Design Firms, with $217 million in 2013 revenue. HII also bought in January The S.M. Stoller Co., a Colorado environmental and energy engineer with 650 employees.
