California The Shipyard Communities, a partnership led by Lennar Urban, is planning to build an artists studio building on Horn Avenue in San Francisco as part of the redevelopment of the former Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. The project entails the construction of a six-story building containing 125 artist studio spaces and includes the demolition of Building 110, which currently is being used as artist studios. Colorado Continuum Partners is planning to build a Kimpton Hotel at 16th Street and Wewatta Street, adjacent to Union Station, in Denver. The 12-story building will contain 200 rooms. North Carolina Spectrum Properties is planning to build and manage a 25-story office building at 300 S. Tryon St. in Charlotte. The 632,835-sq-ft building in the Uptown neighborhood will have Babson Capital Management as a tenant as well as 22,685 sq ft of retail space. Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors owns the property and will oversee development. The project's value has been estimated at between $25 million and $50 million. Ohio The City of Cleveland is planning to build the Morgan West Reservoir. Following construction of the new East Reservoir, the 20-million-gallon cell of the existing reservoir will be demolished. Then, the Morgan West Reservoir will be built within the footprint of the demolished reservoir. Temporary and permanent underground conduits and yard piping will be constructed to maintain plant operations during construction. It is being designed by MWH Americas Inc. Arizona SBBI Inc. has started work on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest Three Forks road improvement project. The project includes paving over the existing graded surface of 17 miles of Federal Highway 249 in Apache County.
